Silhouette at Twilight!

This is a top secret post! It's my grandfathers birthday on the 25th of this month and wanted to make him something to keep. I came accross this cut file in the Silhouette Store and just fell in love with it. I added the name (you can add anything you want, I picked grandad. And cut it out!

I then made the backing using distress inks. I think the water is made with broken china, peacock feather and faded jeans. The sky is brushed cordouroy, chipped sapphire and either a touch of peacock feather or faded jeans, I can't remember exactly off the top of my head.

Do you guys do that as well? Get so into crafting that after the process is complete you sometimes don't even know what you did haha!

Anyway this is going into a frame to give to him on his birthday! My grandfather is one the best men you could wish to meet! I hope he loves it! My sister said 'it's ace' which is so,etching coming from her haha! So doesn't really pay any attention to anything crafty so that's a big thumbs up I think on her part lol!
